The Dell'Ugo New Farm story

Giuseppe always had a dream to open a restaurant that provided authentic Italian Cuisine. One day he was in the New Farm area and he noticed a beautiful restaurant was for sale. He enquired and then within one month he opened "Cafe Dell'Ugo" Ristorante Italiano this was on the 11th June 2000. With the help of his very good friend and top Chef Angelo and he was able to offer his customers the best in Italian cuisine. Good quality food at a very reasonable prices. Since that day he has grown to become an icon in the Italian restaurant business. In 2001 Gloria decided to help Giuseppe fulfil his dream by working side by side with him to build the restaurant to even bigger heights. They were assisted by their Manager Soula who commenced working with them from the time they opened. Nine years down the track the name has changed to "Dell'Ugo New Farm" because in 2004 ‘Dell'Ugo Southbank" opened its doors. The success of "Dell'Ugo New Farm" has been accredited to Giuseppe because he loves what he does and takes pride in making sure everyone is looked after the way they should. "Consistancy" is the key word for Giuseppe, when you come to eat at "Dell'Ugo New Farm", he makes sure that every dish is presented the way it should be, and the chefs always use the best ingredients to keep the quality at the top. You will always see Giuseppe and Gloria working together because they believe "that you must be hands on to show the customers that we love what we do".
